Marie Curie Host Fellowships for Early Stage Research Training (EST)
Marie Curie Host Fellowships for Early Stage Research Training (EST) are aimed at offering structured scientific and/or technological training as well as providing complementary skills. The training focuses on developing S&T techniques, but it can also include more practical skills such as research management and languages.
The idea is to encourage participants to take up long-term research careers by helping them to enhance their job prospects. EST will focus on the training of researchers with less than 4 years of research experience.
Mobility scholarships will be of two main types. First, the short term training consisting of average 6 months mobility grants. Short stays for Early Training researchers should comprise a strong connection with a training research activity like for instance learning surgical techniques, materials processing specific methodologies, to isolate and to manipulate cells, etc. The second type of scholarships will be long-term training activities consisting on 36 month mobility grants. Those target more closely students that intend to undertake their PhD's in one of the Alea Jacta EST Institutions.
Only the 6 months short time scholarship grant is available at the moment!
The Eligibility criteria for Early Stage Training fellowships can be found (here).
